General Information

Do you support SSO (e.g., Okta)?

Yes—SSO can be enabled and is often part of rollouts. Before SSO, learners register by email in the portal.

How do you measure impact and sustain momentum over time?

We help build progressions in learning paths tied to professional growth, plus monthly themes and competency-driven initiatives linked to the company’s strategic goals. Dashboards, periodic reporting, and stakeholder reviews ensure visibility of progress and outcomes.

How does Learnit manage their course catalog & updates?

Our course catalog is constantly reviewed and updated based on learner feedback, industry trends, and skill demands. This ensures the content stays current and relevant.

Can you offer custom or company-specific training?

Yes. We can create custom topics or company-specific programs. Additional fees may apply depending on the scope of customization.

What happens to learner data & historical access?

Learners retain indefinite access to their personal learning history and course materials, even if membership changes later.

Does Learnit have a trial option?

A 45-day free trial of Team Pass is available so you can experience the program before committing. Schedule Your trial conversation here.

What can Learnit support for reporting & ROI Support?

Admins receive registration and attendance data plus participant engagement feedback. We also offer skill growth measurement and ROI mapping aligned to your preferred criteria.

What are your options for various languages & accessibility?

Sessions are delivered primarily in English. Closed captioning is available. Non-English sessions can be arranged and global time-zone scheduling is possible for an additional fee.

Do you offer free events or sample-session workshops?

Yes.

  • Free events: Learnit regularly hosts complimentary events announced on our LinkedIn page.
  • Sample sessions for organizations: A free Team Pass trial is available for qualifying teams to experience Learnit’s programs.

Can Learnit Customize Training?

Absolutely. At Learnit, customization is core to our approach. Our programs are designed to deliver value, but we know learning sticks best when it’s relevant and immediately applicable. That’s why we align every workshop—whether technical, leadership, communication, or AI—to your organization’s goals and culture. This ensures participants not only gain new skills but also know how to apply them in ways that matter most.

Does Learnit offer One on Ones for individuals?

While Learnit provides 1:1 coaching as part of larger programs—for example, presentation skills, communication, and manager training—we do not offer standalone one-on-one training for individuals seeking a private class outside of those structured programs.

Are certificates provided, and are your classes certified or eligible for continuing education credits?

Yes. Certificates of Completion are available to all learners upon request.

  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs):
    • Many learners successfully submit Learnit certificates to their professional accrediting bodies for CEU credit.
    • Each certificate lists the course title and instructional hours, making it easy to provide documentation.
  • Important Note:
    • Acceptance of CEUs is determined solely by the accrediting organization.
    • Learnit cannot guarantee approval, as requirements differ by field and may change over time.

Are cameras required?

Cameras are not required, but they are strongly recommended. Facilitators encourage participants to keep cameras on to promote engagement and connection throughout the session.

For soft skills classes, we prefer participants to remain visible to help create a focused, human learning environment where discussion and collaboration can thrive.

Does Learnit offer In-Person Training?

Yes! Learnit runs our public schedule virtually and offers private workshops for both in person and virtual.

Do you record your sessions?

At Learnit, we record classes to enhance learning while protecting privacy.

  • Technical Classes Recordings support registered participants who miss a session or want to review key concepts. Unless otherwise agreed, they remain accessible for 30 days and are not shared externally.
  • Soft Skills Classes To preserve a safe, confidential environment, these sessions are recorded only for internal insurance purposes and never distributed.

This policy reflects our commitment to high-quality, secure, and inclusive learning. For questions or special contractual needs, please contact us.

Are classes hands-on or lecture-based?

All Learnit workshops are designed to maximize retention through active practice.

  • Public Schedule Workshops – Whether technical (e.g., Excel, Teams) or human skills (e.g., leadership, communication), every public session includes interactive exercises and guided practice time.
  • Private Workshops – For specific organizational needs, Learnit can arrange lecture-based formats on request, but our default approach is always exercise-driven.

This ensures participants leave each session with skills they’ve applied in real time, not just heard about.

Is Learnit for individuals or companies?

Learnit provides training for both individuals and organizations.

  • For Individuals – Anyone can register and pay for classes directly through the public schedule listed on each class page.
  • For Organizations – Learnit partners with companies to design cohesive training programs, whether that’s an ongoing learning strategy or targeted, solution-oriented workshops tailored to specific needs.

This flexibility allows learners to develop skills independently or as part of a larger organizational initiative.

What types of training does Learnit provide?

Learnit offers two primary types of training:

Who leads the workshops?

Our team is invested in your success. Workshops are led by a team of seasoned, award winning facilitators who understand how adults are motivated and facilitate the workshops with key principals of adult learning in mind. We want you to walk away with an enjoyable and productive learning experience, leaving with additional tools and ideas to apply to your personal and professional lives.

Where does your curriculum come from?

We develop our tool-based curriculum in house. Our teams of instructional designers stay on the cutting edge of industry trends and business philosophy to ensure that course content is comprehensive and relevant. All of our seminars provide ample time for students to practice and explore how they can implement the tools and ideas from the course in their lives.

Is Learnit on GSA contract?

Yes, indeed! Check out the GSA website and contact us if you have further questions.

Do you offer discounts for non-profit organizations?

Yes, we offer 10% discount for non-profit organizations. Please contact us for more information.

Public Workshops

My team is really interested in a workshop, but the dates don't work for us. What are our options?

You have two flexible pathways, contact us here to set either up.

1. Anchor a New Public Date

a. With at least 5 confirmed participants, Learnit can check facilitator availability and add a new date to the public schedule.

b. This option allows others to register as well, which helps keep costs lower than a private workshop.

2. Schedule a Private Session

a. For an exclusive team experience, consider a private workshop—ideal for 6–10+ participants depending on the subject.

b. Private sessions can be scheduled at a time that best fits your team’s calendar and learning goals.

Do you offer accessibility accommodations like closed captions?

Yes. Closed captioning and other reasonable accommodations can be arranged.
Please note your accessibility needs when registering or email cx@learnit.com so we can ensure the best possible learning experience.

What if I miss a class?

You may retake the same workshop at no cost within one year of the original date. Contact your Learnit team to rebook.

What course material will I receive?

Every class includes learning materials:

  • Technical classes: Digital handouts and reference guides.
  • Human skills workshops: Optional pre- and post-work plus an in-session workbook.

We do not provide the animated slide decks, as they are designed for live facilitation and are not meant for self-study.

Can I participate in a virtual workshop from my phone?

It’s not recommended.
For the best experience—especially in technical skills classes—join from a computer with a keyboard and mouse. This ensures full interactivity for typing, navigating exercises, and using breakout rooms.

What type of payments are accepted?

All major credit cards, purchase orders, and checks are accepted.

What if I need to cancel a class?

For public classes, cancellations must be made in writing at least three business days before the scheduled class to avoid charges or deductions from your training package. Rescheduling Learnit courses is allowed at no additional fee, provided the reschedule occurs within one year. Substitutions of students are permitted with at least three business days' notice, as long as the substitute meets the course prerequisites. In the event of force majeure, such as severe weather, natural disasters, power outages, or strikes, Learnit may cancel classes, and refunds will be provided in these cases.

How long are classes?

Workshops range from 2-3 hours up to a full-day format. Please refer to specific course pages for information regarding duration and time.

How do I register for a class?

There are two ways to register for classes with Learnit:

  1. Your Company Membership or Package: If your company has a membership or training package with Learnit, you sign into the learner portal and sign up!
  2. Pay with Credit Card: If you are new to Learnit or do not have a company membership or package, you can register and pay for courses directly through our guest checkout process.

If you have any questions, please contact us at 855-838-5028.

Do you have to take all modules of a course?

No. It is all about flexibility. You can take as many or as few modules as needed. This feature is also great for students with learning packages. Repeat only the modules that didn’t “stick” or take only the module with the topics you need. If you are not taking a whole series, please be comfortable with the content in the modules prior. The instructor will not backtrack. *This applies to all courses in Office Applications.

Do classes ever get cancelled?

Unfortunately we will cancel a class due to low enrollment. If your class is cancelled, you will be contacted via email as well as by phone. We will do everything we can to reschedule you as soon as possible.

Can I register the day of a workshop?

If there are seats available, you can take the class. We do recommend you call beforehand to guarantee there is space available as many of our popular classes fill up quickly.

Private Workshops

Is there pre work or post work?

  • Soft Skills: Pre-/post-work is optional and always included. A workbook/learning guide is shared before and during the session.
  • Technical Skills: classes come with support manuals and handouts for ongoing reference.

Do participants need to be on their own device?

  • Virtual:
    • Yes, all users should attend from their own device, laptop preferred.  For Soft Skills an iOS device with keyboard, mic/camera and ease of use is okay.
  • In Person
    • Soft Skills: No. For in-person leadership or communication workshops, laptops are not required.
    • Technical: It’s up to you! We only require the trainer’s laptop. Clients may provide devices if desired, but it’s not expected.

Are breakouts common in onsite sessions?

  • Soft Skills: Occasionally, to encourage small-group dialogue.
  • Technical: Rare; most learning is guided demonstration and practice.

What is the ideal class size?

  • Interactive workshops: 8–25 participants.
  • Lecture or town hall style: Larger audiences (even hundreds) can be accommodated.

Can we have hybrid attendance (onsite + virtual) for a private workshop?

Best practice is all in-person or all virtual.

If a hybrid format is required:

  • Everyone in the same physical room must join on individual devices to fully participate in breakouts and chat.
  • A single high-quality audio device can be shared if all are co-located and cameras remain on.
  • Expect slightly longer breakout transitions when groups form on-site.

What if our company strategy or structure changes mid-year?

We partner closely with stakeholders, leadership, and business-unit champions to adapt learning paths and priorities quickly—keeping learning aligned to new goals while preserving program momentum.

How much time will our team need to invest in the first few months?

Primary points of contact should plan for about 4–8 hours, communications partners about 2–4 hours, and each learning champion about 2–4 hours. These estimates cover discovery calls, awareness campaigns, and initial learning-path design.

Once we set up Team pass/Team pass + what’s the first step to get started?

We recommend three parallel actions:

  • Orientation & Awareness Campaign – introduce employees to the learning platform and its benefits.
  • Learning Paths – create role/level/competency-based progressions that support both current goals and career growth.
  • Learning Champions – identify and empower advocates within business units to drive engagement and ensure alignment.

How do the Unlimited Live Workshops Work?

  • Public classes: Unlimited registrations—members can attend as many as they like.
  • Private workshops: Require a minimum of 8 participants, 2–4 weeks’ notice, and are subject to facilitator availability.
  • Schedule: Sessions run Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. PST. Workshops outside these hours are available at an additional cost.
  • Onsite sessions: Offered for an additional fee.

Do you offer multi-Year discounts?

Discounted rates are available for multi-year commitments when payment is made annually upfront.

How can I cancel the membership?

Memberships are annual commitments with no refunds or credits for early cancellation. Plans renew automatically unless you provide notice before your renewal date.

How can I add or remove members?

You can add seats at any time during your contract. Added seats are prorated for the remaining term. Membership reductions are not available mid-year and can only be adjusted at renewal.

What is the Minimum Membership Size?

Membership requires a minimum of 10 members. Teams of fewer than 10 can contact us to explore other learning options.
