About Our Speakers:

Michael Dismuke, VP of Organizational Development and Internal Communications at Eden Housing

As Vice President of Organizational Development and Internal Communications, Michael is a key member of the Human Resources and Extended Leadership Teams (ELT) at Eden Housing. He is the communications advisor to the company’s executive team and senior leaders across the company. He creates and executes strategies to ensure the company’s human capital has the training and resources they need to support the growth of the organization.

Michael is also responsible for developing and executing a robust internal communications strategy that crosses all departments. He is both strategic and hands-on with a focus on aligning people, strategies, and programs to current and future business needs in areas such as performance management, succession planning, employee engagement, training and compliance, and retention and morale programs. He links external marketing to internal communications, participates on the emergency planning committee, and acts as a key consultant on emergency communications. He also directs the apprenticeship program.

Michael Dismuke is a Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Certified Leadership Development and Succession Strategist. He is a national speaker/trainer and consultant, a freelance writer, and a published comic creator.

Annie Tahtinen, Director of Technology Services at JVS

In her role leading the Tech department at JVS, Annie oversees the technology pathways and the Job Search Accelerator programming, as well as employer and community partner engagement. She also leads the TechSF initiative for the Mayor’s Office of Economic and Workforce Development to help bridge employment opportunities for local Bay Area residents to the tech sector.

Prior to her service at JVS, she served as the Senior Manager of Workforce Development at the Bay Area Video Coalition where she connected hundreds of job seekers to jobs in tech and new media and led workshops on interviewing and portfolio development. Prior to her nonprofit career, Annie worked for over a decade as an HR and Talent Development leader in the advertising and marketing industry. Annie holds a BA degree in American Studies from UC Berkeley and an MS in Organization Development from the University of San Francisco.

Erica Kisch, Executive Director at Compass Family Services

As the Executive Director at Compass Family Services, Erica helps families achieve their goals. She guides and supports various teams and works with the Board to set the organization's priorities and vision.
