Free Event: Pivot Tables in Excel

Overview:

This session is based on Learnit's full-length workshop on Excel Pivot Tables. Everyone who attends all of Learnit's free Friday events in September will receive a badge of certification in Excel Power User.

Microsoft Excel is the most commonly used spreadsheet application. Learning how to use Excel is an investment in both your personal and professional life. Excel makes it easy to monitor financial performance, such as business profit or loss, calculate payments on large purchases, plan a budget, stay organized with checklists, and much more! In this short session, you'll learn how to organize, analyze and summarize data using Excel Pivot Tables.

Together, we'll learn how to:

1. Organize and clean data in spreadsheets for pivot table analysis

2. Manage and update pivot table source data to display new values

3. Edit pivot table report formats and settings

4. Format default layout for pivot table reports
